How it works

One hover. Five steps. An approved payment.

The same sequence runs at a supermarket counter, a factory gate or an ATM. Only the system it triggers at the end changes. Here is what an enrolled palm actually goes through, hover to confirmation.

Five-step palm payment flow: enrol, hover, verify, pay, done
  1. Enrolment: We scan your palm once and turn it into an encrypted code that can never be turned back into an image of your hand. No image of the palm is ever stored.
  2. Palm authentication: The customer hovers a palm 5-15 cm above the reader. An infrared scanner reads the vein pattern under the skin, even if the hand isn't held perfectly straight.
  3. Payment authorization: In under a second, it confirms the pattern is really you by detecting live blood flow, not just a copy, then approves the payment.
  4. Transaction processing: PalmPay only confirms who you are. The actual payment still runs through UPI or your bank, just like today.
  5. Payment confirmation: An approval event returns to the counter terminal and the sale completes, sub-2s from first hover to confirmed payment.
